Adam Morley
for Florida House of Representatives DISTRICT 24

“Let us not seek the Republican answer or the Democratic answer, but the right answer. Let us not seek to fix the blame for the past. Let us accept our own responsibility for the future.”

My name is Adam Morley

I am a husband, father, Captain, businessman, and life-long resident of this district, with strong ties to our community. Regarding politics, I believe JFK relayed an important message by saying, “let us not seek the Republican answer or the Democratic answer, but the right answer. Let us not seek to fix the blame for the past. Let us accept our own responsibility for the future.” With that in mind, I am not running to score points toward a political agenda that further widens the political divide we’re experiencing today. I plan to serve my home district and to address the needs and concerns in every way possible. I believe too often we get distracted with the media and the polarization of hot button issues, which is an obstacle blocking us from reaching our full potential community.

My priorities in office will focus on the following areas:

Fiscal responsibility - ensuring the best return on investment with taxpayer dollars

Clean water - guaranteeing the most valuable natural resource is cared for in a responsible manner

Affordable Living - making sure that citizens can afford to live here

Fair elections - advocate for honest policies that benefit voters throughout the election process

Energy policy - more competition in our energy markets that would lead to lower costs for our consumers

Legalize marijuana - put an end to outdated prohibition laws that waste taxpayer resources on non violent offenses that ruin the lives of otherwise productive members of our community.

Home Rule - restore power to the people by allowing localized issues to be addressed at the local level. Stop the power grab by big monied interests and the centralization of power to Tallahassee.

Adam Morley Has Served On Several Local Executive Boards, Including The Friends Of Anastasia State Park, Friends Of Tomoka Basin State Parks, Friends Of A1A Scenic & Historic Coastal Byway And North Florida Coastal Caretakers.
