Adam Morley

“ I am Captain Adam Morley, a native of St. Johns and Flagler Counties, and I am honored to once again be your “Quality of Life Candidate” and the “Sportsman’s Choice” candidate for State Representative. I believe in uniting our community on common ground issues, focusing on solutions that transcend political divides. [Clean water] is not a partisan issue; it is a fundamental right that affects us all. As your representative, I am committed to safeguarding our water resources, ensuring they remain pristine for current and future generations. Access to clean water is essential for our health, economy, and the well-being of our communities. [Local control], often referred to as Home Rule, is another cornerstone of my platform. It empowers our local governments to make decisions that best serve the unique needs of our communities. By championing Home Rule, we preserve the essence of our districts and allow residents to have a direct say in the policies that impact their lives. [Stopping Overdevelopment] by preserving green spaces and protecting rural areas from overdevelopment. Because these spaces contribute to our quality of life, providing recreational opportunities, preserving biodiversity, and maintaining the character of our neighborhoods. As your representative, I will work tirelessly to strike a balance that ensures responsible development without sacrificing our natural treasures. In the spirit of unity, let us remember the words of JFK: "Let us not seek the Republican answer or Democratic answer but the right answer." Throughout my life, I have aspired to embody this principle. Together, we can find the right answers to the challenges facing our district, irrespective of political affiliations. These priorities—clean water, local control, and protecting green spaces—are not Democratic or Republican issues; they are the concerns of our shared community. Let us work together to build a brighter future for our piece of paradise. I am eager to serve you and ensure our voices are heard in Tallahassee. Sincerely, Captain Adam Morley The “Quality of Life Candidate” and the “Sportsman’s Choice” Candidate for State Representative, District 19”

“Let us not seek the Republican answer or the Democratic answer, but the right answer. Let us not seek to fix the blame for the past. Let us accept our own responsibility for the future. John F. Kennedy

Restoring Home Rule - give power back to the people & communities so they can address pressing issues in a timely manner.

Fighting for Clean Water policies - water is our most precious and valuable resource. It is Florida’s true economic driver and must be protected for all to enjoy and benefit from.

About the Candidate

  • Restoring Home Rule – give power back to the people & communities so they can address pressing issues in a timely manner.
  • Fighting for Clean Water policies – water is our most precious and valuable resource. It is Florida’s true economic driver and must be protected for all to enjoy and benefit from.
  • Protecting Privacy Rights – I will fight to keep government out of our personal lives and choices. Government does not belong in the bedroom or doctor’s office with patients.
  • Affordable Living – protect Florida’s workers, families, and community character from special interests looking to exploit available housing that in turn drive up costs.
  • Addressing Homelessness and Mental Health – we need to bring back public facilities funded by the state to relieve the burden left on local governments to address both homelessness issues and mental health issues. This is a problem too big to be left up to small, resource strapped communities to handle alone.
  • Legalize Marijuana – it’s time. It’s already practically done, anyone can get a card for the right price. The only ones that benefit from the current system are the doctors that issue the cards and the corporate retailers that sell overpriced product. Time for a new approach that works for the people.
  • Better Energy Policies – we are the sunshine state yet we are not leaders in solar due to restrictive state policies supported by utilities (State sanctioned monopolies) so that they can maintain power…pun intended.
  • Fiscal Responsibility – Florida’s government should be run like a B Corp. there needs to be an ROI that benefits residents now and in the future.
  • Fair Elections – close the “write-in loophole” that screws voters out of getting a say in who represents them. Semi-open primaries to end the taxation without representation of our current system.
